Custom Boot Fitting & Foot beds

Every skier, regardless of ability or experience level, can benefit from having a custom footbed made. Custom footbeds are molded to your foot by having an impression taken of it. The process of molding a custom footbed typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes. It is like a footprint in wet sand that is unique to you and supports your foot entirely. A stable foot is strong, balanced, and relaxed while an unstable foot is weak, unbalanced, and easily fatigued. Much of the discomfort skiers experience is the result of an unsupported foot trying to stay balanced and working too hard to steer the ski through the turn. Proper footbeds are essential to an effective fit.
